Support groups

A suicide bereavement support group can offer a safe and understanding space to share your story, express your feelings, and hear from others who are walking a similar path.

You might find strength in shared experiences, or new ways to cope from those who are further along in their experiences of grief.

Support groups might include:

  • Suicide loss peer support groups – scroll down this page for options
  • WAVES suicide bereavement support groups
  • The Seasons for Growth programme, offering support for children, young people, and adults navigating change and loss
  • Groups for bereaved parents
  • Widow and Widowers Association groups.

To find a group near you, contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau online or call at 0800 FOR CAB (0800 367 222).
